Priorities Change

By God’s grace my priorities have changed! How have they changed, you ask? Growing up my focus in life was all about me and basketball. Working out and training on the basketball court took top priority and consumed my life. The will of God, bible study, family, and other relationships were moved further down the list.

Yesterday, I played one game of basketball, for the first time in a while, and my lungs were burning. I am so out of shape! Don’t get me wrong, I still believe its important to be balanced and to take care of myself physically.

But, the point is that studying the bible, preparing for youth and outreach ministries, and spending quality time with my wife take priority over shooting hoops and pumping iron. Priorities have changed and that is a good thing!

I remember that picture. Your fanny is now out of shape you say, but your spiritual fanny is now moving. Your a great role model for a big brother. Thanks :)

    Son,
You will never, ever, regret the decision you have made to pursuit godliness. If I were to take my last breath today, I would die a proud father of two the greatest kids a Mom and Dad could have.
Of all the 29 year olds in the world; if I had to line them a pick one for my son, I would still pick you! I love you Bubba!

    All My Love,

    Pops . . . .

    Ron,

You’re making choke me up. You’re right - you have two great kids. I am blessed to be able to call you all my friends.

    Jeremy

Wow!!! I don’t think I would have heard you say that 5 years ago. Nathan and I are so excited to see the work God is going to do through you and your wife. By the way, do you think you guys will ever make your way to Riverside? I know it’s up to God, but you need to know we miss having you around, and we would love to get to know Arelis a lot better.

Danielle, I would love to come back to SoCal! I keep asking God what he has for Arelis and I next but he hasn’t answered yet. We shall see and keep praying with us.
