Starbury Movement

Last August was the debut of Stephon Marbury’s shoe line called Starbury. The purpose was to make shoes more affordable for those, like himself growing up, who can’t afford the $120+ shoes on the market. The shoes actually cost $14.98! Here is a shot of the Starbury II that are to come out here soon. I haven’t tried the shoes out, but the word is that they are not that comfortable. Maybe because they are $14.98?

Despite the need for inserts, the shoes are selling out. In August it was reported that two months of stock sold out in three days. Now the Starbury movement is branching out by recruiting Ben Wallace of the Chicago Bulls to sport the new kicks next season.

I wonder if the shoes the Pro’s wear is the same model that is in the stores?

    Well, the shoes don’t look bad but I wonder if they fall apart in a month.
    I guess it’s a good option for parents with a kid whose foot seems to go up in size from month to month.
    Do they sell them in a size 15? maybe we can order you a pair.
