Happy Birthday Arelis

February 12, 1982, my wife was born in Venezuela. At the age of 9, she moved with her family to Kentucky. She is along way from her home country, and only time will tell where our next stop will be, but she continues her life journey with anticipation.
A few weeks ago I promised my wife a list of things that I love about her, which came about from an argument we had that there are more negative characteristics that I verbalize to her than positive. Have you had that argument?
So, I told her that I would try to improve in this area and make a list. Now, I am not going to share the whole list, but I decided to share with the world, or at least those that read this blog, a few things that I love about my wife.
1. She’s got skills. Now, she wouldn’t admit this at all, but she does have serious talents. She has many creative abilities, artistic skills with her painting, and a mind for languages that I would love to have. She is fluent in Spanish and English (listens to messages in Spanish, translates in English writing for me like it’s nothing), and also knows a little French that she just decided to add to her repertoire while in High School.
2. She’s hot. I love that my wife looks good, but also that she takes care of herself. She likes to run and do her kick boxing classes. She also cares about eating healthy and balanced (as best as we can because sweet’s taste so good).
3. She likes to eat. I love that my wife likes to eat more than a bird, but still doesn’t look like a chubby bunny. As you can see from the photo above, Arelis started young with her love for good eatin!
The list continues, but for now, I’ll keep it short and sweet. Just like my wife. Happy Birthday!
Go say hello here!
