Master’s Champions Dinner

In 1952, the Masters tournament winner Ben Hogan, gave a dinner for all the previous winners. He also proposed the formation of the Masters club with its membership limited to tournament champions.

Well, the proposal was accepted and every year since the defending champion selects the menu and acts as host for the Tuesday night dinner. Here is a list of a few champions dinner menus:

You have some sophisticated menus and then there is Tigers menu (Burgers, fries, and shakes). Did In-n-Out cater? He is either very picky or keeping it real for the champions dinner!

If I won the Masters, here would be my menu:
Chicken Fajitas, Mexican Rice, black beans, roasted red salsa, fresh guacamole, chips, home-made tortillas (I would hire some sweet old lady to make them home-made), and margaritas.

What would be on your menu?

Bring on the Carne Asada! In 1998 Tiger was 21 or 22 - sounds like typical fare for a guy that age. Side note - remember what Fuzzy said Tiger’s champion’s dinner would be?

Hoya De Monterey Cigars for everyone
    Sing Cumbaya as we leave
