Deadlines, Out-of-State Transfers, Cali

by on 10/17/08

You ever have one of those days in which the ordinary stress’s in life have been slowly piling up on your plate and then suddenly hit you with a flood gate of emotion?

Well, yesterday was one of those days for me.

The last couple of days I have been occupied with transferring my out-of-state status (car insurance, ID, tags) because my birthday deadline is creeping up this month.

And to add to these circumstances, I am still in search of confirming what the next step is for my wife and I (as many of you are aware).

With all of that said, as my California license was taken away and my familiar plates on my car were replaced with new ones yesterday, a whole host of emotions hit me. I just broke down.

Emotions of missing home hit me. The reality of possibly not returning to California hit me. The uncertainty of knowing what is next hit me. The frustration of my wife and I’s jobs and schedule hit me. The stress of finances hit me.

Overall, we are hanging in there. It was just one of those days that had been building up for a few months now.

Today is a new day. God knows exactly what he is doing even if we don’t. He is faithful.

Thank you to all who have been praying for us.

On a lighter note: Want to see what my new plates look like?

Tears flow on this end as well, letting go is a hard thing and freeing of the soul, at the same time. Knowing GOD has something wonderful in store. Thats just how much he loves u both.
