Sneaker Design Contest // Soles 4 Souls

Along with the shoe campaign that I mentioned in the previous post, there is also a sneaker design contest that is linked with Soles 4 Souls.

Run Athletics and Scion present a Humanitarian Sneaker Design contest to raise funds and shoes for Sole 4 Souls.

Sign Up: Enter to create a limited edition (only 300 pairs will be made) Soles 4 Souls shoe at Run Athletics.com/Soles4Souls.
After entering the Web site, you will have the option to download this blank canvas to design your own sneakers (example below).

Prizes: The winning design will be fabricated and showcased at an A-list celebrity party (Rev Run and others) in NYC on Dec 17th. The top 20 runner up designs will be matted and put on display at the party and the artists name acknowledged. All proceeds will benefit Soles 4 Souls.

***Help Me Enter*** I would love to enter this contest but I don’t have access to Adobe Illustrator.
Is there another program for Mac (cheaper or free) that I can use to create a design on the blank canvas shown above? Your help will be greatly appreciated!
