Soles 4 Souls Shoe Campaign

If you didn’t know by now, I love sneakers and outreach initiatives.

So, stumbling across this 50,000 pairs of shoes in 50 days campaign, I got excited and motivated to take part.

Here’s the deal. Soles 4 Souls is a a shoe charity dedicated to helping those in need with the gift of shoes.

They are offering people a way to make a one time $5 donation for 2 pairs of shoes.
Seriously, $5 = 2 pairs of shoes and easily making a difference in someone’s life.

Issue: Over 300 million people around the world don’t have shoes and are forced to walk around unsafe and in potentially life-threatening conditions.

Solution: Go to 500000shoes.com and donate $5 for 2 pairs of shoes.

And you can also donate a “slightly used” or new pair of shoes at a local drop off center. Check for locations here.

I just donated my $5 for 2 pairs of shoes online and I think I know what I am going to do with my kicks that I got from the essay contest! Taking them to a local drop off location.

Somebody around the world is having a more difficult time finding a size 15 than I am!
