Vote For Us // Back Your Block Grant Nomination

A few posts back, I announced a grant opportunity for 501(c)(3) sports organizations in connection with Nike Back Your Block. Below is a video promo of the program.

As I mentioned previously, I was hoping to apply for this grant, but needed to hear back from the IRS before applying. Well, I am excited to announce that we received our 501(c)(3) status and now meet the requirements to apply for this grant. It’s a small grant, but we are a newly founded organization and looking for contributions to help us accomplish our vision.

Now, here is the fun part. We need your help! Grant nominees will be awarded based on the criteria of judges as well as votes from community supporters. While votes for an organization don’t guarantee a grant award, it does help to have more votes.

I haven’t discussed many details about our sports organizations name, vision, and activities, besides this post. There are so many things in development right now (website, programs, etc), but I will be sharing more soon. For now, I’ll let you know that are official name is Baller Athletics, Inc. Below is a temporary logo.
